Call 2 Fall, scheduled for July 5th, 2009
On Sunday, July 5, 2009, Millions of Americans and their churches, will hold the Call 2 Fall on our knees. The Call 2 Fall is an initiative calling for Christians to set aside time for earnest prayer and repentance on behalf of the Church and our nation. It is a simple but powerful commitment to get on our faces before the Lord, asking him to reshape our lives and renew our land.
While we search for answers to our problems, God has already given believers the ultimate prescription for what ails us. It's found in 2 Chronicles 7:14, where He urges his people to seek his face and turn from their wicked ways. America can't elect one person to bring about change. We have to be the change that turns the tide. That doesn't mean we stop engaging the culture or affecting public policy. It means that we support those efforts by taking a moral stand in the church.
The day after America celebrates her independence, it's our goal to have eight million Christians declaring our dependence on God. Visit www.call2fall.com for more information

Summer Girl's Club
Start your own SUMMER GIRLS CLUB!
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for playing along with the ABC's of Me last week! Congratulations to Janice, Connie, Aime, Mary Ann, and Ruby -- the winners of Meredith Andrew's CD: "The Invitation."
This week, I invite you to start a SUMMER GIRLS CLUB. It doesn't matter what your age is, everyone needs time to spend with their friends (and we get so busy with everything else that a lot of times we really have to plan the friend-time!) I started a SUMMER GIRLS CLUB and we had our first "meeting¨ Saturday. We rode bikes by the beach, shared our hearts and even got to pray a little. I don't think any of us spent more than $5. I hope to do something at least one time a month with my Summer Girls. You might want to do the same.
Here are some steps to starting your SUMMER GIRLS CLUB (and guys--- don't tune out. Share the idea with your wife or girlfriend and watch her light up! Wash her car while she's out with her friends or take care of the kids. She'll love you for it!)
STARTING YOUR SUMMER GIRLS CLUB
1. Pray about whom to invite (women who share your interests, women who might need some encouragement, women you can learn from.)
2. Come up with your first activity, so you can share it with your Summer Girls.
3. E-mail or send invitations, follow up with phone call explaining your SGC.
4. Come up with a name for your Summer Girls.
5. Pray for the ladies in your group when they come to your heart.
6. ENJOY your time together. Do things you haven't had time to do for months or years! (Suggestions below)
7. Take Pictures, Write about your times together, Take along a video camera if you have one.
8. E-mail me at zsazsa@lighthouseradio.com about your Summer Girls Club when you form it.. and as you get together with your girls.
SUGGESTIONS FOR SUMMER GIRLS CLUB MEETINGS
Spa night at one of your houses (nails, hand massages, facials, worship music, prayer.)
Outdoor activities – walking on the beach with a stop for coffee.
Progressive Dinner at your Summer Girls Club Member’s homes.
Trip to some Gardens (or even Garden shops.)
Afternoon at the Mall.
Berry Picking.
Star Gazing out on the Sand.
Scrapbooking (maybe go take pics together one night and THEN put an album together of your SGC!)
Over-night retreat.
Movie Marathon.
Make a Movie Night.
Ice Cream Dream Night (make ice-cream—or pick up your fave brand -- and go crazy with the toppings! Or go out and share a huge sundae!)
Again, remember to tell me about your intention to start a SUMMER GIRLS CLUB at zsazsa@lighthouseradio.com so I can pray for you and “your girls!” And let me know how it goes. God bless each and every one of you. And Happy Fourth of July. As you celebrate Independence Day and the Freedom our country has, don’t forget to thank God for the Freedom Christ won for you on the Cross!
All the best!
